Review:
I remember seeing this CD title back in '92
when it was released and something about the front cover intrigued me.
Splash Lake seems to be one of the overlooked and forgotten games that
came out on the TG-CD. I was finally able to recently play this
and was actually impressed! This is a puzzle game that gets very
challenging and is highly addictive. Basically, you are Ozzie the
Ostrich and you have to strategically peck away at the bridge in order
to make the enemies "splash" in the "lake." The first 20 stages are
pretty easy but it gets increasingly challenging to point of
frustration :) The graphics are colorful and fun. The sound is OK; you
wouldn't think it was on CD. The play control is very good and easy to
get used to. I most definitely recommend this CD to anyone who likes
puzzle games. By the way, this title is really cheap if you happen to
find it on eBay!
(about $15!)

NEC Avenue was a bit lazy on this very average, forgettable music
track, especially considering it's on CD.
