Review:
Another
addition to Hudson Soft's "Soldier"
series. This particular title is very much like Blazing
Lazers.
It could use some voices for when you get your powerups, though.
The graphics are quite nice. There's a lot of eye candy in this
game.
Sound FX and music are almost identical to that of Blazing Lazers -
which
is pretty good. Graphics are similar too, but a little
better.
For those of you who aren't in the know, it's a top-down shooter -
something
which became very popular on the TG16. But yes, it is a fun
game.
Anybody remember Star Soldier for NES? Well this here is 'Super'
Star Soldier. Quite the kick-ass game - but not as much as Blazing Lazers.
And that not as much as Final Soldier.
